The Rent-Free Model & Ownership
Do I actually own the physical cylinder?
When you pay the initial upfront cylinder cost, you are purchasing the permanent right to use an Easygas cylinder. Because you swap your empty cylinder for a freshly filled one, you do not keep the exact same physical piece of metal forever. This pool system ensures you always have a fully tested, compliant, and well-maintained cylinder without ever paying ongoing rental fees.
Are there really no hidden fees?
Absolutely none. There are no monthly account fees, no daily rental charges, and no environmental surcharges. Once you have purchased your initial cylinder, you only ever pay the cost of the gas when you need a refill swap.
What if it takes me two years to empty my cylinder?
Take as much time as you need. Whether you empty the cylinder in two weeks or two years, the cost is exactly the same. You will never receive a bill for a cylinder sitting in your garage.
Can I get my initial cylinder payment refunded if I no longer need gas?
The initial cylinder purchase is non-refundable. However, because you own the permanent right to use the cylinder, you are completely free to sell or transfer your Easygas cylinder privately (such as to a friend or on local online marketplaces). The new owner can simply bring the empty cylinder into any authorized Easygas agency for a standard refill swap, no questions asked.
The Exchange Process
How do I get a refill?
Simply take your empty Easygas cylinder to any authorized local agency or stockist. Walk in with your empty cylinder and swap it immediately for a full one. You will only be charged for the gas inside.
Do I have to wait for my specific cylinder to be refilled?
No. Our swap system is instant. You drop off your empty cylinder and immediately take home a pre-filled, safety-inspected cylinder from our inventory.
Can I swap a cylinder from another gas company for an Easygas cylinder?
No. We only accept authorized Easygas cylinders for exchange. This ensures our strict safety, quality, and maintenance standards are met for every cylinder in our network.
Can I swap my cylinder for a different type of gas?
No. To ensure the highest levels of safety and gas purity, we operate on a strict "like-for-like" exchange policy. You can only exchange an empty cylinder for a full cylinder of the exact same gas type (e.g., Argon for Argon, or CO2 for CO2). Different gases require specific valves and cylinder pressure ratings. If you need a new type of gas, you will need to purchase a new cylinder dedicated to that gas.
Cylinder Safety & Maintenance
Who is responsible for safety testing the cylinders?
We are. One of the major benefits of the Easygas exchange system is that you never have to pay out-of-pocket for mandatory hydrostatic testing or valve replacements. Every time a cylinder returns to our filling facility, it undergoes a strict safety inspection before being refilled and sent back to an agency.
